Messing About on the River

“Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.” This was the opinion of Kenneth Grahame, author of the The Wind in the Willows, and our pupils happen to agree with him. Making the most of the glorious weather, our History tutor, Simon, and his students Marco, Katy and Sam took a boat and went off to a small adventure up the picturesque River Cherwell. With Simon steering the boat, the four of them pedalled their way upstream through the grounds of Magdalen College.

As evident in the pictures it seemed to be a fun trip for everyone!
